Tritium Venting to Begin September 14

People were caught a little bit by surprise that the permit from NMED was issued and how quickly LANL planned to release the radioactive tritium into the atmosphere.  If you have questions or concerns about what is happening, please contact government officials who are responsible for the tritium venting operation:

There are more than a dozen events in New Mexico for Labor Day 2025. In Taos, the protest is from noon to one o’clock at Civic Plaza Drive & Camino de la Placita.

In Los Alamos, the protest begins at three o’clock at Ashley Pond.

In Santa Fe, a longer event begins at 10am at the State Capitol and ends at 11:30am.

Las Vegas will have a short demonstration from noon to 12:30 at Mills Ave. & 7th St.
